Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Rocky Software Inc. ("we"), a company in Canada, about Cuewire: the desktop app, its background service, its command-line tools, the Cuewire service at cuewire.dev, and this website. By installing Cuewire, creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them. If you use Cuewire for an organisation, you agree for that organisation and confirm you may do so.

1. The software

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Cuewire on computers you control, under the plan you have. You may not resell Cuewire, take out or get around its licence checks, or use it to break the law or other people's rights.

Cuewire runs other companies' agent programs, such as Claude Code or Codex, with your own accounts. Their terms apply to your use of them, and you are responsible for following them. Cuewire never resells model access and never handles those accounts' logins.

2. Your work

Your code, prompts, notes and canvases are yours. Cuewire keeps them on your computers and does not send them to us. Agents act on your instructions and with the permissions you give them. You are responsible for what you let them do, for reviewing their changes, and for keeping backups.

3. Accounts

You need an account only for the paid plans. Keep your email account secure: sign-in codes are sent there. One account may be signed in on up to 5 computers. Tell us at support@cuewire.dev if you think someone else used your account.

4. Plans, payment and renewal

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices are shown on our pricing page; taxes are added where they apply.

Subscriptions renew at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays until the end of the period you paid for. A new account gets a free trial of Pro, which ends by itself without charge. Refunds follow our refund policy.

After 12 paid months, you may keep using the paid features you had, in versions released before your paid time ended, after you stop paying.

5. Changes and availability

Cuewire is changing quickly. We may add, change or remove features. The app works on your computer without our service, except for features that need it, such as sign-in, sync and the phone companion. We aim to keep the service available but don't promise it will never be interrupted.

6. No warranty

Cuewire is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we give no warranty that it is free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. AI agents can make mistakes, including mistakes that change or delete files. Check their work.

7. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or business. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law does not let us limit.

8. Ending

You may stop using Cuewire and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, with notice when we reasonably can.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province where Rocky Software Inc. is registered, except where the law of the country you live in gives you rights that can't be set aside.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will say so on this page and, for important changes, by email before they take effect. Questions: hello@cuewire.dev.
